Brundlefly was one helluva disaster of science and nature. This ghost video on CCTV is not nearly as creepy after you look at it a zillion times in a row. It does kind of look like the fly in the movie. Makes you wonder if that fly-actor is out of work, down and out, and slumming for scraps of fetid meat in exchange for these short films.
Maybe I’m just seeing what I want to see, but I see a fly. The shape is right, the movement is right and when it zips off to the edge of the screen, it seems obvious (it also makes it look kind of faked because the camera is having a hard time reconciling as the insect moves to the edge). The close proximity of the insect, as happens with these vids, creates the seeming transparency and even fog-like image.
