I took a crap ton of pictures back on Feb 28th and have alternatively ignored and fussed with them since them.  Here ya go!  Right on schedule.

Blind Watcher

this and that

The joint oozes Chicago history.  Check it out at graveyards.com

George Henry Thomas “The Rock of Chickamauga”.  A US Army man.  Union General.  The Battle of Chickamauga had the second highest number of casualties of the American Civil War, following the Battle of Gettysburg.

“Long” John Wentworth.  A two-time Chicago Mayor (1857–1858 and 1860–1861) with grand plans for cleaning up the city by spying on the brothels.

John B. Finch Chairman of the Prohibition National Committee 1884-1887 and member of the International Organization of Good Templars.

Charles J Hull.  Real estate muckety muck.

The place is expansive.  The largest cemetery in the city.

Damn Pangs! You make me so proud, I gotta wipe away a tear. I love the captions. I’d give anything to hang out with you for a day and get into mischief. I suspect we’d be bouncing the jokes off each other all day. I might crack a rib.

  3. Not a group hug. Mutual exhaustion.
